What We’ll Learn
At Little Lions Preschool we strive to provide children with a deeper understanding of salvation from sin through Jesus Christ as found in the Bible. This truth is simultaneously taught throughout our consistent daily schedule designed to maximize learning experiences.
In our schedule you will find times designated for Bible lessons, Mathematical Concepts, Early Literacy, and Science/Social Studies themes. Structured lessons taught in smaller time increments allow the children to focus on academic growth while practicing self-control, fine motor and listening skills. Varied lessons during the week provide opportunities for independent work as well as group work.
We also focus on social and emotional development by providing larger periods of free play. Free play allows for children to engage socially while nurturing imaginative play and problem solving skills, as well as developing gross motor skills.
A school year calendar will be sent home with the summer informational packet. There will also be a Focus of the Month calendar sent home at the beginning of each month outlining the main topics that will be focused on during the upcoming weeks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ENROLL
Little Lions is open to all (potty-trained!) children who turn three or four-years-old by September 1st of that same school year. Class sizes are limited to 12 in each class, 24 total four-year-old students and 12 total three-year-old students.
Three Year Olds
Three-year-old students attend on Tuesday and Thursday in the morning from 8:15-11:15. FULL for 2024-25)
Four Year Olds
Four-year-old students have a choice to attend on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the morning from 8:15-11:15 (FULL for 2024-25) OR Monday through Friday in the afternoon from 12:15-3:15. There is a higher cost associated with the afternoon session, and incoming students will need to meet basic criteria set by our director.
TUITION
Tuition is for the 2024-25 school year is $100 per month for the three-year-old students, $140 per month for the 3 day a week morning four-year-old students, and $240 per month for the 5 day a week afternoon four-year-old students. Upon registering, there is a non-refundable $40 fee to hold your child’s place in the program.
Registration for the next school year begins in January for returning families and in February for new incoming families. It continues all summer until classes are filled.
